The card club volunteers have planned to do some printmaking activities in the grade 3 and 4 classrooms using lego dots to create pixelated designs that can be relief printed. See pictures at the bottom. We are hoping some families may be able to help us out with used lego donations 😉
Lego doesn’t need to be new and the colour doesn’t matter. We would be grateful for any you might spare. We are looking for two specific types of lego.
Lego baseplate sheets (10 inch x 10 inch)
Ideally this size because the kids can make larger prints. if you don’t have any hanging around that large we would still be happy to add them to the supplies if they are about 6 inch x 6 inch or larger.
Lego Dots
These flat (smooth top) pieces will be used to create a pixelated design on the sheet that we can ink and print on paper.
Thank you in advance for anything you can donate. We are hoping to have 1 sheet per kid so about 24 sheets.
