The Frankland Boo Bash is this Saturday (October 29) from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the Frankand school yard. Come howl in costume & have a wicked good time dancing at our Monster’s Ball to live music from the Sidewalk Crusaders! This is the first time Frankland has held this event and it’s an opportunity for our families to get together to listen to live music, get dressed up in Halloween costumes & have a fang-tastic time.
Tickets
Tickets are one sale now and are $10 per entry. Kids 3 years and under are free. Included with your ticket is the concert by Sidewalk Crusaders, hot drinks (hot chocolate and apple cider), treat bags for the kids & Halloween themed arts & craft and activities. To buy your tickets visit the Frankland Square Account and show your receipt at the entrance of the Boo Bash. Tickets will be on sale at the entrance but we strongly encourage families to purchase their tickets ahead of time.
Delicious food by local vendors will be available for purchase at the event. Thank you to the Edmund Burke & Off the Hook (Frankland family run restaurants on the Danforth) for generously providing the food. The House of Empanadas (from the East York Farmers Market) will also have a stand at the Boo Bash. Please bring cash to purchase food.
Boo Bash activities for all ages
The Monsters Ball – with live music from the Sidewalk Crusaders!
Arts & Crafts, including a Block Print Station. Families will have the opportunity to make their own Halloween T-shirt or Trick or Treat Bags by using block stamps (linocut stamps/blocks). Please bring a clean light coloured t-shirt (doesn’t need to be new, jazz up an old shirt) or a cloth/canvas bag are good too (less texture will show more detail).
Pumpkin Decorating. Families will have the opportunity to paint pumpkins to take home for Halloween decorations.

Pumpkin Raffle
The Annual Pumpkin Raffle is back for the Boo Bash! Enter for a chance to win an awesome pumpkin decorated by your child’s class!
Each class is hard at work designing and decorating a pumpkin that will be raffled off during the Boo Bash on Saturday. Raffle tickets are $2 each or $5 for 3 tickets. Raffle tickets will be on sale this Friday (October 28) at 3:20 p.m. at school pick up & on Saturday, October 29 at the Boo Bash. Cash only please. All proceeds will go towards school fundraising. The raffle will be drawn at the Boo Bash and the lucky winners will be able to take their pumpkins home to decorate their front porch just in time for Halloween!
Food Drive
The Frankland Parent Council will be collecting non-perishable food items for the Eastview Food Bank at the Boo Bash. Please bring a non-perishable food item to donate.
Volunteers Needed
To make this event a success we need volunteers to help on the day! We need families to volunteer for set up/pack down, help sell tickets on the day and at the activity/food tables. Each volunteer shift is only an hour to ensure you can still enjoy the event with your families. To sign up to volunteer please click here
We hope all our Frankland Falcons can come out and support this event. Don’t forget to wear your Halloween costumes! All profits made on the day will help fund musical instruments, books & field trips for 2023. Please note: if there is rain on the day, the event will be held in the Frankland Gym.
